MPD Overview
The development of a ministry partnership team, including raising financial support, is an essential responsibility for campus interns and staff ministers. Campus volunteers may also raise financial support for ministry expenses and conference scholarships. We refer to this process as Ministry Partnership Development (MPD).

Next Steps
The number of open positions are not predetermined. Provided we have supervisory capacity, we will appoint as many staff candidates who fit our selection criteria. So if God is calling you to serve with InterVarsity, then we invite you to apply for one of our positions! Our standard application timeline is outlined below, but if you have circumstances that don’t fit this timeline, please let us know, and we can work with you on an alternative timeline.

Oct/Nov: attend prospective staff retreat to learn more about working with InterVarsity
Dec: Complete and submit the online application. References will be requested through our Workday Recruiting site AFTER the application is submitted.
Jan 15th: Application packet, reference materials, and prospect list must be complete and submitted online in order to schedule interviews
Early Feb: Interviews are conducted
Late Feb: Offers are made and campus placement is assigned (placement decisions take into account candidate preferences, campus needs, and supervisor capacity)
March - May: Ministry Partnership Development (MPD 101 & 102) training begins
Summer: focus 100% of time on MPD (estimated 3-8 months to raise budget for Campus and Student Interns; 6-18 months for Campus Staff Ministers)
Campus interns, Campus Staff Ministers, and Student Interns can begin to spend time on campus when most of their budget is raised.
