We believe that reaching college students and faculty with the gospel is one of the most strategic ministry callings you could pursue! Listen to InterVarsity’s president, Tom Lin, to find out more about joining InterVarsity staff.
"Our mission is bold. There are over 2500 campuses in the US with more than 1000 students, and the majority of them have no known Christian ministry. Right now, the Holy Spirit is calling someone to join this work. Is it you?"
Tom Lin, InterVarsity President

Communicate and model InterVarsity’s vision by creating a culture of prayerful dependence on God, guiding students and faculty in God’s mission through studying scripture and setting goals that expectantly anticipate what God wants to do on campus.
Gather, invite, and disciple diverse groups of students and faculty so that they not only follow Jesus as Savior and Lord, but also advance the mission on campus as participants and leaders, equipping them to hear the Word, respond actively, and interpret the experience.
Build momentum for the vision by aligning programs, structures and leadership teams around the goal, and mobilizing students and faculty to engage their networks with the gospel and start new missional communities.
Collaborate with a network of other local, area, regional, and national InterVarsity staff and volunteers, contributing to team projects, and utilizing national resources, tools and conferences.

Professional Development Skills
Working with InterVarsity is a great way to continue to mature in leadership and partnership with others. Whether you join us for a couple years, a decade, or a lifetime, we are committed to helping you grow, both as a follower of Jesus and as a leader.
See our Core Competencies
As we work towards our mission on campus, we want InterVarsity staff to flourish holistically. In addition to spiritual formation and professional development skills, we also provide a robust benefits program.
The development of a ministry partnership team, including raising financial support, is an essential responsibility for campus interns and staff ministers. Campus volunteers may also raise financial support for ministry expenses and conference scholarships. We refer to this process as Ministry Partnership Development (MPD).
